Message	Honestly you can't go wrong with either car. If the extra money is burning a hole in your pocket, go ahead and get the M3. It is gorgeous and IMO the 2nd or 3rd best looking car on the road. You could also get a used M5 though for 50k somewhere I bet, and they are even better.
